TRUE ARTISANS This is a husband and wife business. They are both artisans in the true sense of the word and really nice to have in the house. We have gone through a house remodel and extension. So, Andy,James and Martina had to design the kitchen with us based on plan drawings. They made suggestions and inputted ideas that really helped shape the design of our new kitchen (and which now finished all ideas worked!). The work was first class and we are thoroughly delighted with the outcome. Price wise they were certainly very competitive, particularly when you are getting a hand made real wood kitchen (rather than mass manufactured MDF!). The work did take a little bit longer than indicated. But this was mainly due to them wanting everything perfect. And it is. We’d highly recommend them.

WOOD PANELLING
MY FAITH IN SKILLED WORKMANSHIP FULLY RESTORED "The Carpenters House" found on the website after looking for someone to fit 15 oak doors and make and fit wood panelling in hall,stairs and landing. Well what can i say "found a gem" in Andy..from his first initial visit with Martina, his expertise and knowledge along with ideas we never thought of made our job so much easier....he is a courteous,carefull,respectfull,tidy but most of all "an expert in his field"...my faith in skilled workmanship fully restored....thank you very much Andy & Martina for a wonderful job carried out.... BESPOKE SHEPHERDS HUT

SHEPHERD’S HUT Andy provided us with a beautiful shepherd’s hut. Their workmanship is excellent and very thorough. They are friendly and like their tea strong! I would highly commend them.
These guys built our beautiful Shepherd’s Hut from start to finish. Andy (the owner) is a perfectionist and his attention to detail is fantastic. Andy is also very approachable and goes above and beyond to make the job works we would absolutely not hesitate to use Andy’s bespoke carpentry services again. Our Shepherd’s Hut can be seen on Airbnb in Durham. The Carpenters House have also done bespoke joinery work at our Launderette/bar/venue in Durham. Old Cinema Launderette. Again, a great piece of work building our bar. Thanks again Andy.

AMERICAN DINER STYLE BOOTH AND HARDWOOD FLOOR Absolutely delighted with the service provided. Andy, Martina and Tony are really passionate about their work and the standard of the job has been absolutely first class. Very skilled & hardworking.
I have had a diner style booth built from scratch, which Andy sourced the beautiful leather on the seats too. We have had hardwood flooring installed which is beautiful and we are now commissioning a room width unit in the living room and turning a bedroom into a walk in wardrobe.

BESPOKE KITCHEN,WILLINGTON What a team of dedicated people from the very start to the end of this job,Andy ,Tony,Martina and everyone else involed in this project ,I cannot recomend the Carpenters House enough if youwant design,build and the odd laugh along the way then these guys are the buisness,I would not hesitate to use there services again and we most certainly will be.
Our project was not always straight forward but Andy was there to advise, assist and carry out what was needed to get the job done and what a job they did......... when you start to envisage what your dream kitchen looks like forget it what you actually get is far, far, far GREATER a million times greater, greater then what we thought it would look like.
I cant say this enough if you want something made ....... choose Andy and the crew believe me you wont be disappointed.

ROULETTE WHEEL Andy did an excellent job of refurbishing my rather worn ex casino John Huxley roulette wheel. it is now not only a working wheel but a nice piece of furniture to have in my living room.
BESPOKE PANTRY
WONDERFUL PANTRY We had just moved and discovered that the kitchen had much less storage than we had realized. Andy and Martina came to the rescue and fitted wonderful curved shelves in no time at all! A difficult space is now both functional and beautiful. From their first visit their knowledge and understanding of what was needed was obvious. Thanks to you both!
